Chaos Commission: Conversion

"Rejoice followers of the Corpse God! I, Lord Ceph'litis, bring unto you the many gifts of Nurgle~!"
- Recorded Vox Transmission from the rout of the 35th Dhannon Dragoons

Despite my unswerving loyalty to the forces of the Imperium, I am merely a man- and men are corruptible! So when a commission to convert and paint a strike force of chaos raptors led by a chaos lord came to my table, I couldn't refuse! Don't tell the local commissariat!

The following models are the majority of the commission in after some preliminary converting and basing, ready for the most part to be primed before our trip to Gen Con. There are talks of adding a Sorcerer to the mix as well for a little sweet warptime action, but we'll have to see! It's our hope to have these bad boys done before the 'Death of Summer' apocalypse event at the end of August! It might be a tight fit with a week's worth of convention coming up, but I'm going to try my best!

Lord Ceph'litis the Jubilant! He has pieces of a Chaos Raptor, a Dark
Vengeance Marine, Nurglings, and Plague drones- as well as zombie arms
and an extra Hellbrute shoulder!

The beats of Ceph'litis' wings brings an unearthly joy to the hearts
of the living... and the dead. Even as he lands on the battlefield, the arms
of the dead burst forth to greet him.

The Lord's chief lieutenants, two Raptor Aspiring Champions both
wielding dual-plasma pistols.

Close up on one of the champions, a bug-faced fellow who
doesn't mind giving a nurgling a ride every once and awhile.

The two raptor Icon's of Despair (though they prefer to call them
Icon's of 'Acceptance').

While his brother prefers the classic standard on a pole, this Icon
Bearer wears his 'colors' affixed to his jump pack.

The plasma gun crew, ready for deep striking Alpha strikes!

This mutated fellow clearly needed extra stability in his aim,
so Papa Nurgle gave him a third arm to hold his gun steady.

The ablative wounds bolt pistol, chainsword members of each five man
squad- one showing bug like arm mutations and the other with quite
a dynamic pose.

More little nurglings, spreading Papa Nurgle's plagues to all the good
enemies they might encounter!

If anyone is interested in my converting or painting commissions, feel free to leave a comment or send me an email at ryanradgoski@gmail.com! Likewise, if you have any fun ideas for crafting a jump-packed Nurglite Sorceror!
